Get answers to common questions about GLACIAL® GLIDE - FACIAL TREATMENT.

Many clients receive Glacial® Glide immediately after laser to reduce inflammation and swelling; however clearance depends on procedure type and clinician. We assess your skin first—treatments are safe for most post-procedure skin when no open wounds, infections, or acute blistering are present.

A single session often provides immediate soothing and reduced swelling, while chronic redness or rosacea benefits from a short series (typically 3–6 treatments spaced weekly). We personalize a plan based on skin sensitivity, goals, and response during an initial consultation.

Yes—many clients notice visible reduction in redness and puffiness immediately or within hours thanks to precision cooling. Effects can last days, and regular treatments help improve baseline inflammation and overall skin comfort for longer-term benefits.

Generally yes—Glacial® Glide is well-suited to rosacea-prone and sensitized skin because it calms inflammation. We perform a consultation and patch test if needed, and won’t treat active infections, cold urticaria, cryoglobulinemia, or uncontrolled Raynaud’s.

Sessions typically last 15–30 minutes. Your technician gently glides the CryoAesthetics® wand over treated areas with continuous cooling; you’ll feel a refreshing cold sensation and gradual calming. Minimal to no downtime—avoid hot showers and strong exfoliants for 24 hours post-treatment.

Contraindications include cold urticaria, cryoglobulinemia, uncontrolled Raynaud’s, severe cardiovascular conditions, active infections, open wounds, or recent dermal fillers without clearance. Always disclose medical history during consultation so we can safely tailor timing and intensity or recommend alternatives.
