How the treatment works
HYDRAFACIAL® Keravive™ is a full‑scalp restorative facial that combines gentle suction, targeted exfoliation, hydrating serums, and a peptide-rich scalp infusion to remove buildup and replenish moisture across the scalp. The method focuses on creating an optimal surface environment for natural hair support while addressing symptoms like congestion and dryness during a single session.
During the appointment we use gentle vacuuming to lift oils and flaking, followed by scalp-safe exfoliation and a hydrating peptide infusion. The treatment is designed for full coverage—front to crown—and concludes with a take-home daily peptide spray to extend the treatment’s scalp-supporting effects between visits.
Scalp conditions it treats
Keravive addresses common scalp complaints seen in Columbia’s climate, including dryness, flakiness, product buildup, and superficial congestion. It also supports clients noticing reduced hair density or early signs of thinning by improving scalp hydration and comfort, without promising medical reversal of hair loss.
Seasonal factors in our area—humid summers and spring pollen, plus dry transition months—can increase scalp buildup and flakiness, which is why demand peaks in Jan, Feb, Sep, and Oct. A provider consultation will determine whether a single treatment or a recommended series best matches your scalp condition and hair goals.
Session flow and aftercare
Appointments last 90 minutes and begin with a scalp assessment, cleansing and targeted exfoliation using the Keravive protocol, followed by peptide-rich hydration infused across the full scalp. The clinician monitors comfort and coverage; the session finishes with a take-home peptide spray and briefing on gentle daily scalp care practices.
Because Skin & Brows Redefined is located near Forest Acres and the North Beltline, many clients schedule treatments around commuting or errands; evening and weekend appointments are available. Follow-up timing depends on scalp response; your provider will advise when to return and whether a series will better support ongoing scalp health.
