How the treatment works
The Pore Purifying Facial is a corrective, layered treatment that combines deep exfoliation, steam-assisted double cleansing and targeted extractions to remove surface congestion and sebum. We follow exfoliation with high-frequency to reduce bacteria and inflammation, a Salicylic Peel for oil-prone skin, and clarifying masks and an Oxygen treatment. Every step is customized to your skin’s condition to reduce enlarged pores and persistent breakouts.
Treatment layering means estheticians apply complementary modalities in a deliberate order: manual extractions to clear follicles, then high-frequency energy to calm inflammation and limit bacterial growth, followed by topical serums like Epionce® Lytic Tx to support cellular turnover. The included Renewal Lite Lotion and Colorescience® Finishing Touch protect and soothe post-treatment skin without introducing unnecessary irritation.
What to expect during visit
This service lasts 75 minutes and begins with a brief consultation to review concerns, medications, and sensitive areas. You’ll receive a lymphatic massage, steam double cleanse, topical steam exfoliation and extraction sequence—extractions can feel firm but are performed with care—followed by a Salicylic Peel, cold globe massage, clay mask and an Oxygen boost.
Immediately after treatment you may see mild redness or temporary purging as congestion clears; these are expected and transient. We include Colorescience® Finishing Touch for UV protection and will recommend home care or product adjustments. Summer months (June–September) often require extra attention because Columbia’s humidity increases sebum production and pore congestion.
Best candidates for the facial
The Pore Purifying Facial is best suited to clients with acne-prone, oily, congested or visibly enlarged pores. It targets excess oil, breakouts and uneven texture while using professional extractions and a Salicylic Peel to encourage clearer-looking skin; many clients report improved texture and a noticeable glow after a series of treatments.
Our team adapts the protocol for sensitive skin, pregnancy, or recent topical medications during the consultation. Several clients choose monthly visits or membership plans to maintain results; estheticians will suggest frequency based on your response, tolerance to peel and goals rather than a fixed schedule.
