How the technique is applied
Lip Blushing is a controlled implantation of pigment that creates a soft wash of color to refine shape, tone and symmetry while keeping a natural look. At Skin & Brows Redefined we begin with mapping and color selection so the final shade harmonizes with your natural lip tone and facial features. A consultation is recommended prior to booking.
Expect a two-part process: the initial appointment and a perfecting session about 6-8 weeks later to refine healed results. The perfecting session is offered as a courtesy when our cancellation and rescheduling policy is honored. Duration: 120 minutes and Price: $800 reflect the time taken for mapping, pigment application, and client comfort.
Eligibility and color correction
Not every lip is ready for immediate lip blushing. Multi-tonal or unevenly pigmented lips frequently need Permanent Makeup Lip Color Correction first to establish an even foundation. Color correction requires a consultation to assess pigment layers and may require more than one session before the desired lip color can be implanted safely and predictably.
Touch-up and maintenance eligibility depend on how well pigment retains in your skin. Results typically last 2-4 years depending on lifestyle, aftercare, and skin response. SPF lip balm is recommended to support long-term color retention. If pigment has faded beyond reasonable maintenance, a new set investment may be required rather than a simple touch-up.

Columbia’s humid subtropical climate — hot summers, mild winters, frequent summer thunderstorms and notable spring pollen — influences aftercare choices and comfort during healing. High humidity and summer heat can affect scabbing and sun protection needs, so timing appointments and planning indoor recovery days helps protect pigment while skin is healing.

Evening and weekend appointments work well for busy families and professionals. Note our busiest months are February, November, and December for seasonal events and holidays, so book early if you need timing for special occasions.
