Healing and touch-up timing
Expect pigment to appear darker immediately after the procedure—typically 30–40% deeper—then soften through healing. Clients often experience scabbing around days 4–14; never pick. Keep the area dry for about 7–10 days, follow aftercare ointment instructions, avoid sun and makeup, and expect true color to stabilize over weeks two through six.
A perfecting session is usually scheduled about 6–8 weeks after the initial appointment to refine healed results; this session is offered at no additional cost when our cancellation and rescheduling policy is honored.
