Frequently Asked Questions

Most clients enjoy results for 12–24 months; oily skin or sun exposure can fade sooner. We recommend a one-month touch-up and maintenance every 12–18 months to preserve color and shape based on skin type and lifestyle.

Discomfort is minimal for most clients. We apply a topical anesthetic before and during the procedure to reduce pain. Sensations are typically described as light pressure or mild stinging; most find the experience quick and tolerable.

Cleanliness and gentle care are essential: avoid water, makeup, swimming, saunas and heavy sweating for seven to ten days. Apply recommended ointment sparingly, avoid picking scabs, and protect the area from sun exposure while healing to preserve pigment and prevent infection.

Avoid wearing eye makeup immediately after treatment; wait until the initial healing (about seven to ten days) and only use clean products. Applying makeup too soon increases infection risk and can interfere with pigment retention.

Not suitable for clients with active eye infections, recent eye surgery, uncontrolled diabetes, bleeding disorders, or certain autoimmune conditions. Consultation and medical disclosure are required; we may request physician clearance depending on medications and health history.

Most clients require one initial session plus a 6–8 week touch-up to perfect color and shape. Occasional additional sessions may be recommended for corrections or faster fading depending on skin type and aftercare.
