Get answers to common questions about Skin Classic 4 Zones.
Skin Classic 4 Zones uses a high-frequency electrode to precisely coagulate and remove small surface irregularities. Energy targets lesions in each zone, minimizing surrounding tissue damage for reduced scarring. A consultation determines suitability and treatment depth for safe, effective results.
Most skin types can tolerate Skin Classic 4 Zones, but individual factors matter. We screen for pregnancy, pacemakers, active severe acne, and recent retinoid use. A consultation ensures appropriate settings or alternative treatments if needed, and may include a test spot.
Expect an initial skin assessment and mapping of the four treatment zones during consultation. The provider will explain risks and aftercare, then perform short, focused high-frequency bursts. Sessions are comfortable for most clients; topical numbing is available if desired.
Some irregularities respond fully in one session, while deeper or multiple lesions may require two to three visits. Your practitioner will recommend a personalized schedule based on lesion size, location, and healing response observed during follow-up appointments.
Temporary redness, mild swelling, and small scabs or crusting are common and typically resolve within days to two weeks. Rarely, transient hyperpigmentation or infection can occur; these risks are minimized with proper aftercare and an assessment during your pre-treatment consultation.
Prepare by avoiding exfoliating treatments, retinoids, and intense sun exposure for at least seven days prior. Disclose all medications and medical conditions, remove makeup before arrival, and follow any personalized instructions provided during your initial consultation.
