Right after your appointment, the pigment will look darker and sharper than the healed result. Mild swelling or watery eyes can happen too. Then the real magic is time. You’re going to see it soften.
Days 1 to 3
Darker color is normal. Keep the area clean and dry as directed. No makeup on the eye area.
Days 3 to 10
Light scabbing and flaking is common. Don’t pick. Avoid water, sweating, and makeup on the eye area for 7 to 10 days so the pigment heals cleanly.
Around week 4
Color settles and softens. This is the point where you can judge the true healed look.
